Research Map Information for Faculty

All faculty in the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture are encouraged to submit information about their research projects in our interactive research map. The map has a Maine and Gulf of Maine focus, but all college research can be included in the searchable database and will be critical to making the map fully useful. Research projects conducted outside of Maine are listed with the campus-based projects. We hope to develop a global-scale map, which will be a relatively easy step if national/international projects are already in the database.

If you would like to enter information in the research map, please contact the college’s research office at um.experimentstation@maine.edu. They will provide the link to the project input page and instructions a long with your user ID and password.

If you would like to add a research project in the research map, please email um.experimentstation@maine.edu to learn about criteria for inclusion and receive a form for entering project information.
