The College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture is harnessing science and technology for Maine’s future. The products of the college’s R&D programs inform decisions on pressing public policy issues, fulfill critical needs of state government, fuel business innovation and economic growth, and promote healthy living and a sustainable environment.

The Maine Agricultural and Forest Experiment Station is the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture’s center for applied and basic research in agriculture and food sciences, forestry and wood products, fisheries and aquaculture, wildlife, outdoor recreation, and rural economic development.
