New Students:  Students starting at the University of Maine in the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture (NSFA) in Fall of 2022 are automatically considered for University of Maine scholarships. Students can also contact their program’s undergraduate coordinator for information about departmental scholarships.  Students can also search for UMaine, private, and outside scholarships using Scholarship Universe.

Returning and Continuing Students: Current NSFA students (that have been here for at least one semester) are invited to apply for college scholarships in Scholarship Universe. In order to be considered for NSFA scholarships, students need to have at least a 2.7 cumulative GPA. Applicants are required to write a short (500 words or less) essay.
  • Students should sign in with their UMaine account and single-sign on.
  • Click on the “Applications” tab on the menu on the left hand side of the screen and select “College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture Scholarship Application.”
  • College scholarship applications are available starting December 1 for the following academic year. Apply online through Scholarship Universe. Applications are due by April 3.
Please email with any questions regarding scholarships administered by the college.
