Morse, Stoll part of PPH story about Georgetown Aquaculture founder Pat Burns

Dana Morse, an aquaculture research er with Maine Sea Grant, and Joshua Stoll, an assistant research professor of marine policy with the University of Maine School of Marine Sciences, were mentioned in a Portland Press Herald story about Georgetown resident Pat Burns. He co-founded Georgetown Aquaculture to help locals find alternatives to traditional fisheries. Morse has shared his expertise with Burns and Michael Bonney , who will provide five-year loans for people to set up five aquaculture farms. Each farmer will get 10 traps, and the initial seeding will be 240,000 baby oysters, according to the article. Burns said the plan next year is to add another farm and 600,000 more seed divided among the six farms. Stoll, who is an aquaculture farmer, will invite new farmers to piggyback on his website. Harvested oysters will be marketed under the name Robinhood Cove Oysters, according to the article.
