NSF-funded project, including UMaine’s Gill, cited in Sierra Sun Times article
The Sierra Sun Times of Mariposa, California published a press release from the University of California at Merced, citing a paleontological research project that includes work by Jacquelyn Gill. Gill is an assistant professor of paleoecology and plant ecology with the University of Maine’s School of Biology and Ecology and Climate Change Institute. The project, funded by a $430,00 grant from the National Science Foundation, includes a dig at the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles, according to the release.
