UMaine Graduate in Story on Trail Huts
A UMaine graduate was quoted in a Kennebec Journal story about the trail and hut system built by the nonprofit agency Maine Huts and Trails. Chris Nilon, the hutmaster at a hut in Flagstaff Lake, said he graduated from UMaine with a degree in parks and recreation and tourism. He had been working at national parks in the Midwest but returned to Maine when he heard about the trail and hut system.
